Faced with the unprecedented crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic and influenced by new lifestyles, Japan’s motorcycle market is beginning to change.
Sales of sporty mid to large-size motorcycles have consistently increased each year. The fan base for riding motorcycles as a hobby is steadily increasing.

Now is the time to maximize the fascination and potential of motorcycles. In response to the needs of chilled riders, NAPS launched a brand that eloquently tells the story and reflects the passion that developers put into their products for individual riders that desire the ultimate in motorcycles.
NAPS has worked with many riders to realize the aspirations of each individual and make their dreams come true. The new brand provides riders seeking the ultimate in performance with masterworks developed with motorcycle parts manufacturers owning state-of-the-art technologies to satisfy the desire of ultimate riders. This is the key concept of Naps Sports.

The first Naps Sports product, All Dry Carbon Body Kit, is launched.

Together with manufacturers, Naps Sports selected the best materials and the most appropriate methods to achieve high ratings in performance evaluations for motorcycle exterior parts and then designed the necessary parts.
Based on an original design by Naps Sports, the first product, the All Dry Carbon Body Kit, was carefully handmade by engineers using the highest-grade materials (carbon prepreg) made in Japan.
The All Dry Carbon Body Kit was made from the materials, equipment, experience, and sophisticated technologies that had been proven in automobile races to say nothing of motorcycle races around the world.

Features of Carbon

High Strength
Carbon as a material has only about 20 to 25 percent of the specific gravity of iron, and its product strength is about 10 times* that of iron.
When compared with other materials, the strength will be dramatically improved if the weight is equal.

Lightweight
Since carbon offers high strength for the same weight, the balance between strength and weight can be adjusted to reduce the weight while increasing the strength.

High Precision
Carbon provides excellent dimensional stability and can realize high precision in products.
The characteristics of CFRP* products include a low coefficient of expansion and contraction due to changes in temperature and the inability of plastic deformation.
*CFRP stands for carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Combining carbon and plastic achieves higher strength and rigidity than resin alone.
